Cynthia Clawson in Concert Sunday November 15th, at 2:00 p.m. in the sanctuary. Free !! Clawson is a remarkable singer with a nearly four-octave range and she has been traveling for two decades singing in concerts across the country and around the world. Billboard magazine called her “the most awesome voice in gospel music.” Recently she completed a new acapella project, Prayer and Plainsong, consisting of a CD, video and audio cassette. It was recorded live in the 275 year-old San Jose Mission in San Antonio. This project consists of songs about prayer and meditation. Clawson was born and reared in southwest Texas, the daughter of a Texas Baptist preacher.
